Our Directors
Jun Reyes, the Founder-CEO of Indie.Go Media and President of Shooting Gallery Studios, has been a multi-awarded filmmaker and veteran advertising director for over four decades.
A 1978 product of the London Film School, which has produced many Academy Award-winning directors, Jun has received various honors from the New York Advertising Awards, London International Advertising Awards, Asian Television Awards, Philippine Advertising Congress, and Catholic Mass Media Awards.
His 2009 documentary, The Last Journey of Ninoy, was a finalist at the Al-Jazeera International Film Festival and a nominee at the New York Film Festival. He has also served as Executive Producer to a number of Filipino feature films, including Crying Ladies (2003), which earned over P100 million at the box office.
A true visionary for over 40 years, Jun Reyes remains one of the most sought-after creative forces in the Philippines and abroad, with a trademark for storytelling, visual artistry, and innovation.
Nic Reyes, a founding Indie.Go director and a 19-year industry veteran, has created the most engaging TV and digital ads for Spotify, Dunkin’, Shakey’s, Colgate Palmolive, Unilever, Unilab, Coca-Cola, Toyota, and Smart, among others.
His commercials have been nominated for “Ad of the Year.” A recipient of the Loyola Schools Award for the Arts (Screen Arts) from the Ateneo de Manila University, and trained by the late filmmaker Marilou Diaz-Abaya, Nic also creates short films, documentaries, and music videos — most notably his collaborative efforts with the alternative rock band UDD.
For 16 years, he directed UDD’s most unforgettable videos and visuals, including their inaugural MV, “Maybe” (2005), and “Sigurado” (2017), headlined by Terrace House star Mizuki Shida, which he filmed in Tokyo, Japan. Nic continues to bring his indie mindset to his commercial work and to his partnership with Indie.Go.
Zig Marasigan, one of Indie.Go’s master storytellers, was born with a pen in his hand and a camera in his crib. Years as a screenwriter for ABS-CBN have carved him a niche for heartfelt and emotional narratives, as seen in his work for brands like Jollibee, Lazada, Globe, BDO, Dunkin’, Sun Life, and Smart, among others.
The principal writer of the Netflix original series Trese, Zig has penned a variety of projects for film and TV: from Regal Films’ Shake Rattle and Roll XV and Star Cinema’s Every Breath You Take, to award-winning indies such as Patintero: Ang Alamat ni Meng Patalo and Tandem.
His viral commercial, “You Can Never Have Too Many Dog Videos,” is still Globe’s most-watched digital ad (over 50 million views) and walked home with multiple prizes at the YouTube Advertising Awards. Zig’s background allows him to take his directing by the horns in the digital space — seeing brands like characters on a script, each with their own story to tell.
